Individual Paper: Rescue 101

Hi everyone!! it´s been one month since i posted something here at my blog.
I´m currently busy last month for our place was flooded. so our house was a wrecked back then!!
It´s really hard to live -.- anyways, I just want to share my narrative essay about the service, how the rescuing in our place is, well my paper in not that good for it´s rush, i think i made this for less than an hour
or so. Well this paper was like an advertisement about service, I´m promoting RESCUERS HERE!!!
This was i think was our homework for our Communication skills course.

Here´s my paper about rescuing/service they provide.

This men and women are heroes. Risking their lives to help the victims. Some are volunteers who wants to help the affected people. They are simple human like us, but the difference is they are doing what they can do to help, and they are our own knight in shinning armor, our rescuers.

If America has Avengers, we have Rescuers. I experience it first hand to be rescued by this heroes. Last month, we were affected by the flood. Our village are prone to massive floods, so if the rain continue to pour non-stop for 24 hours the river near us will spill and our village will look like mini Venice. Sometimes I wish for the rain to pour non-stop, so classes will be canceled but that´s my selfish thinking. If the rain continue to fall, classes will surely be canceled for it´s already flooding. So I stopped thinking like that because it´s a selfish wish where many people will suffer including me and my family. I think my wish was granted when another flood came last month. We need to evacuate our house weather we like it or not. Good thing our heroes came to help us. With complete battle equipments, meaning their rubber boats, ropes, umbrella etc. They helped us to evacuate and went to higher place. We decided to go to one of our family friend, since is higher and near us. We can monitor the water level there. The rescuers escorted us there and its a great experience for I can see them do their heroism live in action. Sometimes I think if they get something for rescuing other people so out of curiosity I ask them ¨We are volunteers, and seeing people safe is enough, their thank you of course is a bonus.¨ To think that people like them still exists working for free. It´s rare nowadays so they are officially my hero. Saving lives is not an easy task. You can´t say I´ll volunteer because i want to be a hero also or because people will noticed you, your way of thinking should not be like that volunteer means you are doing it for free, not waiting for anything in return. I´m also thankful to the people who volunteered to gave relief goods to the victims. My family may not received any of the goods but i know that our share went to the families who are really in need. Our heroes really did a very good job rescuing people to dangerous places, endangering their lives as well just to help and people who gave relief goods, they are donating for the victims and it´s a very noble thing to do. With complete equipments and people to help people whoa re affected by the flood, they really did an effective service to people.

Rescuers are a very honorable. I wish to help people someday. I always remember what my grandmother always tell us when we are still kids, ¨Big things comes from small things.¨ So our simple help with the others combining it will be big. Knowing that people will be happy with our help is enough to motivate me do more good deeds in the future.

Avengers thingy there is awesome!!! hahaha I find it funny to compare Avengers to Rescuers. Oh well they´re heroessss they should be friends XDD
